About this Tour
Visit the most beautiful Mayan ruins of the Yucatan peninsula leaving from Isla Holbox,
Tulum is one of the most important archaeological zones in the state of Quintana Roo and the only archaeological site facing the Caribbean Sea. For the ancient Mayans, this city was the main center of maritime and land trade in the area and today it is the most visited and photographed archaeological site in the Riviera Maya. This Mayan city was built on a cliff where the turquoise tones of the Caribbean sea can be seen, it is surrounded by walls that symbolize the elements: earth, water, air and fire.
After a guided walk in the ruins of Tulum, we will go to a small cenote where we will refresh ourselves before visiting the Mayan ruins of Coba.
This tour leaves Holbox Island on Tuesdays and Thursdays, a minimum of 3 people is required.

- Tips
How long before my tour can I expect to be picked up?
We usually pick you up between 15 and 10 minutes before the tour departure, sometimes on Whale shark tours the pick up can be up to 30 minutes before departure.
The port was closed on the day our boat tour is programmed.
When the Harbor Master closes the port, small boats are not allowed to navigate for the safety of our visitors. Our staff will contact you to offer you an alternative solution.
Do tours include taxi pick up?
Yes, all tours include hotel pick-up, but only private tours and bioluminescence include the return fare.
When can I see the whale shark?
The season starts from June 1st to September 15th.
What are the rules for swimming with the whale shark?
You can download the whale shark regulations here. They can change or update without prior notice.
Is the Whale shark spotting guaranteed?
We offer a whale shark search and encounter adventure tour with these gentle giants in their natural habitat. Last season 97 percent of our expeditions were successful. However, the sea is limitless and sudden changes in underwater ocean currents move plankton from the surface to the bottom, causing sighting not always possible. It is very odd for this to happen.
Will I get my money back if we don’t see the whale sharks?
There are no refunds if we fail to see the Whale Sharks. These sad days are when we go further and spend more time and fuel searching for the whale shark.
